Health testing
It is very important to us that we do all we can to help assure we are only producing healthy puppies. So this starts with doing proper health testing on our breeding dogs so we can make the best match’s possible. Genetic panels, PennHip, OFA hips & elbows, OFA cardiac, OFA patella’s and OFA eyes.
What is included
Our puppies come with a 3 year health guarantee, vet check, microchipped, age appropriate vaccines, dewormed & 30 days free health insurance. All records will be in their take home bag.
Training
We start litter box training at 3 weeks of age & crate introduction at 5 weeks old.
Temperament testing
Evaluations will take place when puppies are 7.5-8 weeks old. We will record each individual eval then upload to YouTube. Each family on the waitlist will get access to the videos to start selecting their puppy in the order they were placed on our waitlist.
Our curriculum
All of our puppies are raised on Badass breeder program. Involving Early neurological stimulation (ENS), Early Scent Introduction (ESI) and daily curriculum. I truly believe early socializing is so crucial in helping our puppies become the best family members they can be! We Provide an age appropriate curriculum during the 8 weeks our puppies are with us. Each week we move on to new and exciting stimulating tasks, what looks like just simple play is actually carefully planned out tasks. Helping provide them with the tools to overcome fearful situations, become confident & happy puppies. The first 16 weeks of a puppies life is the most crucial, their fear period is at an all time low. So each new encounter, new smell, new texture or sound helps shape the puppy they will become. Like humans learning a second language, its easier to do at young age. You can teach a old dog new tricks but its just take a bit longer.
Contract
Please keep in mind that caring for a young puppy requires much dedication, time and energy. The cost of caring for this puppy includes, but is not limited to routine vaccinations, examinations, and flea medication, training, food, crate, bedding, toys, grooming products, etc.
*I understand reservation fees are non-refundable, but can be transferred to another litter. In the event pregnancy does not take, desired gender isn’t available or we do not have enough puppies come your turn to pick. We will happily offer you a full refund or the option to transfer deposit to a future litter. Deposits are not transferable to anyone other than the person listed on this application. You can transfer to future litter 1 time. Any future transfers may result in price increase if our pricing has gone up.
*By signing this contract, I testify that I understand that if I’m being placed on a deposit list, I understand that puppy picks are made in order of deposit received. I understand that I am not guaranteed a specific puppy if puppy picks are pending. Puppy picks are done after the puppies are evaluated by our veterinarian and we are told they are completely healthy. This takes place at approximately 8 weeks old.
*Colors, coat types, and size at maturity cannot be guaranteed. We genetically test our breeding stock heavily, but there are some factors that cannot be guaranteed. We do our very best to give the most accurate prospective outcome of our puppies.
*Updates about breeding’s and current puppies can be found on our website and Facebook page (Emma Doodles). Please refer to these sites for information. Please keep in mind that we are an active family. It’s our passion to produce and care for our sweet doodles. Everyday routine care is extremely time consuming. This makes it somewhat difficult to respond to excessive/unnecessary emails/texts/Facebook messages. Therefore, we are diligent about updating our Facebook page and website. We know it’s hard to be patient while waiting to bring your new puppy home-we are in your shoes often-but, trust us…it’s worth the wait!
Emma doodles provides a certificate for 30 days of free health insurance through Trupanion that has to be activated by the customer. Any warranty issues within the first 30 days will be paid out only for the deductible incurred. It is your responsibility to enroll your puppy within the first 24 hours of possession with Trupanion to enact this free coverage.

Seller guarantees that at the time of delivery, the puppy is in excellent health. Puppies are checked by our veterinarian and receive their first series of shots at 8 weeks. Should the puppy be found to be in poor health of a life threatening nature, Seller will provide Buyer with a replacement puppy from another litter. Consideration will be given to full refund of the purchase price of the puppy. Shipping fees will not be refunded.
The following conditions apply to the sale of the mentioned puppy:
* The Buyer has Three (3) days from the time of receipt of dog to have dog examined by a Veterinarian. Any request to return the puppy to the Seller for a full refund must be made within this time period and may only be requested should the puppy prove to be sick upon arrival. Proof of examination must be provided.

* We genetically test our breeding dogs for genetic diseases/conditions. We provide a warranty against these conditions until the dog is 3 years of age. Should a genetic disease that we test for be discovered during this time, that will greatly shorten the life of, or greatly alter the quality of life of the puppy, Seller will provide Buyer with a replacement puppy of equal value from a future litter. The Buyer will be placed on the bottom of the desired waiting list. Minor health ailments including but not limited to, viral illness, fleas, worms, or stress induced diarrhea due to the puppy’s transition from the Sellers home are not reasons for the dog to be returned to Seller nor is the puppy not getting along with an existing pet. Proof of examination and diagnosis must be provided to the Seller and Sellers vet, should Buyer wish to request returning dog for a refund. If a pre-existing illness is discovered within 72 hours of the new owner taking possession of the puppy, the examining veterinarian will need to contact the breeder. At this point, the breeder and buyer will discuss options. Although it is unlikely, if the dog is found to be affected by a minor ailment within the first 72 hours, Emma Doodles will reimburse for bills associated with the minor ailment. Emma Doodles must first be notified of the description of ailment and cost of treatment.
This warranty will be terminated immediately if the dog is not examined within the allotted 72 hours from the time the buyer takes possession.

* All puppies are sold on a STRICT NON-BREEDING contract unless breeding rights have been purchased. Buyer agrees to spay or neuter this dog by 12 months of age at buyer’s expense. Please speak with your vet about timing for your puppy. Proof of spay/neuter must be from a certified Veterinary Hospital, on paper, showing the pet’s description, breed & Microchip number. As an added safety measure, once proof is provided to Monique Atkerson, microchip information will be transferred to buyers information. If proof is not received by 12 months of age, Breeder’s 3-year health guarantee will be null and void. Failure to honor the spay/neutered conditions of this contract can result in the Breeder reclaiming the dog without compensation to the buyer and/or a $5000 fee will be charged. If a buyer transfers ownership to another party, this contract is still enforceable. The original buyer is responsible to ensure the spay/neuter of the puppy. Unless breeding rights are discussed and purchased, the dog is to never be bred by the original purchaser or any other person. The original purchaser is legally responsible for making sure this does not occur. If necessary, legal action will be taken to collect damages and Buyer will be responsible for all legal fees.

* Buyer agrees to return dog to Seller, or allow Seller to re-home dog/puppy should it become necessary at ANY point during its life. Our goal is to place our puppies in their “forever home”. We do understand extenuating circumstances may arise. In the event the buyer cannot keep/maintain the dog at any time, we will rehome the dog. The rehoming price will be given to the buyer minus a deposit and $500 fee to cover various expenses and time

* Under no circumstances shall the Seller be liable to the Buyer or to any third party for any consequential, incidental or special damages resulting from or in a manner related to the puppy/dog.
* Upon execution of this contract all veterinary care and its associated costs are the sole and exclusive Responsibility of the buyer.
Maintenance:
Buyer agrees to maintain this puppy/dog in good health, provide routine preventative health care including, but not limited to, Vaccinations, Internal and External Parasites, Heartworm prevention and any other preventative medication Vet feels is needed. Veterinary records must be provided to breeders if requesting refund or replacement. If any of the above preventative care has not been provided, health warranty will be void.

CONFIDENTIALITY OF DISPUTES
Buyer and Breeder agree, that in the event of a dispute between them, neither will publish or communicate the existence or content of such dispute in any media or forum, including social media, provided that this provision shall not be interpreted so as to prevent either party from bringing legal action or engaging in confidential mediation as herein provided.
